What is MSE3
The Maryland STEM Education to Employment Ecosystem (MSE3) is a statewide network aligning partners to ensure all Marylanders, especially the Not-Yet-Reached, can access immersive STEM experiences and STEM-relevant employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
We focus on:
- Connecting students to real-world STEM careers
- Aligning education with workforce needs
- Expanding equitable access across Maryland
- Building sustainable, industry-informed pathways

Through its signature Constellations
Future Ready Maryland: Ignite AI Maryland, Robotics Across Maryland, and The Shipyard, MSE3 empowers partners to introduce ethical AI learning, elevate robotics competitions alongside athletics, and expand career-connected opportunities such as internships, apprenticeships, externships, scholarships, and co-ops.
Guided by its Industry and Academic Advisory Boards, MSE3 strengthens Maryland’s STEM talent pipeline by cultivating innovation, equity, and sustainability while equipping Marylanders with the skills needed to solve the nation’s and the world’s most pressing challenges.
